Rupert Sanderson is reminiscing about his Sandra Bullock moment earlier this year. When big hit “Minions” was released over the summer, the designer was tasked to craft a special pump for the star. Now, the designer told FNews that the star-studded project was his favorite custom look.

“It’s always fun to take a shoe and tell a completely different story with it. Making the Minion shoes for Sandra Bullock this past summer was absolutely ‘bananas’! It is unusual to be able to literally express a film so directly in a shoe — it was very exciting to do.”
