Gucci Has Finally Decided to Stop The Use of Fur and I Know PETA is Drinking to that As We Speak.


Gucci the powerful fashion house is now saying No to the use of furs in their shoes. Gucci is saying no to fur.

During the fourth edition of the Kering Talk at the London College of Fashion on Wednesday, Gucci chief executive officer Marco Bizzarri revealed the Italian luxury brand will go fur-free, eliciting warm applause from students and industry figures in the audience.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)are the happiest right now cause they have succeeded in making Gucci join other top fashion houses like Armani, Ralph Lauren and Stella McCartney to go fur free.

I think on one hand it is great to see these fashion houses go fur free but on the other it makes me wonder if they will substitute all of their leather and fur goods will their prices reflect this change? They are kind of just bettering their bottom line by selling a cheaper product for the same price.
