Foot Mask Series: Do You Know That Shea Butter Can Be Used As a Moisturizing Foot Mask ?

Hello my lovelies,

So today we will be talking about a particular ingredient or better still product I use as my moisturizing foot mask. It’s called SHEA BUTTER which is an oil rich in fats that is derived from the karite tree (also known as the Shea tree) which is native to Africa, and is used in various cosmetic and natural skin care products. Shea butter is gradually becoming popular globally due to it’s beneficial uses which I will list below.

The pure, unrefined, raw Shea butter is full of all natural vitamin A and because of its extremely moisturizing and hydrating nature, when applied to the skin, it provides instant softness and smoothness.

Some of the benefits of Shea butter:

1. It is good for moisturizing your skin

2. It helps in the treatment of acne and blemishes, skin rashes, stretch marks, athletes foots and so on.

3. It helps prevent hair loss and acts as a good moisturizer for the hair

4. It helps in reducing razor irritations and bumps

5. It’s an natural anti-aging cream

6. Restoration of the elasticity of the skin

7. Reduces skin inflammation

8. Soothes skin and baby diaper rash

9. Lip care

10. Repairs damaged hair

11. Soothes dry and itchy scalp

12. Treats split ends and breakage

13. Effective natural conditioner

14. Effective for nasal inflammation and nasal congestion

15. Soothes muscle aches

16. Helps in healing wounds faster

17. Prevents Dermatitis, Psoriasis and Eczema

You can use it in making your Creams, shampoo, conditioners, lotions, soap, lip balm, hair creams and any other cosmetic product. I personally use it for my night foot mask and it works wonders on my feet and by that I mean it literally softens my feet.
i had to use this black cellophane last night since i ran out of the clear cellophane bags. You always do make shift with any accessorory you find around.

This is the procedure for the foot mask just in case you would love to try it too:

1. Get your raw and unrefined shea butter

2 Wash and scrub your feet properly,

3. Clean with a clean towel,

4. Scoop out a reasonable amount of shea butter and apply it generously on your feet

5. Wrap your foot in a cellophane bag and tie up the end so as to prevent air from getting in.

6. Put on a socks and go to bed and later on wake up to a softer and healthier feet and note that constant procedure yields high result.

Below are pictures from after i removed the cellophane bag this morning.. Instant and visible smoother and softer feet. I intentional didn't retouch the photos so you all can see the clear and upclose result.
Like i said earlier, continious usage will yield higher result.

If you have been battling from rough, callused and dead skin, then this procedure is for you. This is even a better option if you can’t afford or you skeptical of the foot peel mask we spoke about yesterday.
