How was your weekend? well mine was splendid and i know yours was not an exception.
From the anchor image for this post, i know most of you are huge fans of these footwear type called the Ugly/dad/chunky sneakers.
The chunky sneakers style has always been around but it wasn't as popular as it is today maybe it could be that fashionistas didn't really key into it as much as they not until recent times when fashion houses started creating more intricate styles and colors and its looks to be the only footwear style everyone seems to be comfortable with nowadays.
In the old times, this sneaker was known as the dad sneaker which was because they were those ugly and huge trainers our dads wore when we were much younger and it was also seen or known as an epitome of uncool but now those old fashioned not too cool trainers is now top the charts for the must have cool girl shoes that no one has been exempted from indulging in this thick soled footwear.
The chunky sneakers are the new super cool an it can be rocked with any outfit of your choice and i tell you that you will come out looking like a million bucks be it that you want to achieve a dress down look or that boss chic look, all you need is find your perfect size and voila you are good to go.

The chunky sneakers is not limited only to the young but for everyone. if you have a great or even if its a little bit of fashion sense, you can rock it and come out looking good but personally i feel these sneakers do not look too cool with jean trousers rather with shorts, skirts and gowns.
Just like me, are you a fan of this type of sneakers or not? well as for me, i am a 100% pro dad/chunky sneakers and that will not be changing anytime soon.

Isn't it interesting how things in the past weren't actually considered cool to wear always seem to make a comeback, and they're really trendy when they do? I've still got a few chunky shoes from back in the day.

I do wear chunky sneakers for work, but I also wear jeans and t-shirts for work. They're definitely comfortable to stand in and for walking. But I've never felt like I looked good wearing them with dresses or skirts like the cool girls, who look amazing wearing them. You've picked out some very interesting ones and some really fun ones (I want that colorful kids' pair) and I'm thinking it's time for a new pair for work!
